Featured today is a photo app (kind of) called Wifi photo transfer. It allows you to download photos from your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad to your computer through a web browser. So for instance if you just want a few pictures, its much easier to open the app, type in the IP address given to you inside the app and download whatever pictures you want. You can also password protect it so only you or someone you know can access these photos.

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I want to try and keep this blog going. Basically this blog allows me to help people find fun games or useful apps for their iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. I always get questions about apps so this is an easier way to get my knowledge out there!

So let's get to today app recommendation!

I've been playing a Freemium (Free with optional in-app purchases to hasten gameplay) title called Tiny Tower. It is addicting! The pointis to build a tower and manage the people and the stores residing in your tower. It has many Game Center achievements and customization options. It uses coins and bucks as currency: coins help you build new floors, and bucks help you speed things up or let you rearrange you floors or give your Bitizens funny costumes like the ones I have pictured.

Tiny Tower - Free(mium)

OK everybody! Lots of apps are on sale and let's use those iTunes gift cards we got for Christmas! I got a few already and still have money left to spend. I just can't decide which apps I want to get...

Well here are some I picked up.

Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD - $6.99 (Universal)

It's a very open world RPG along the lines of Elder Scrolls and others similar. It's prettyawesome and you get it for both the iPad and the iPhone!

Solipskier - $.99 (Universal)

An odd game... you draw a line to build up speed for your skier and there are jumps and tricks and tunnels you have to pass or achieve. Its totally worth the dollar anywho. Also it's a universal app which means you pay one price for both the iPad and iPhone versions!

ToonCamera - $1.99 ($.99 on Sale right now!)

I love camera apps and often spend too much on them haha. This one is pretty sweet because it takes pictures in a cartoony style and lets you adjust it like line thickness and such, but the results are pretty slick and well done. It of course requires a camera so iPhone or iPod Touch 4th Gen. required. Here is a video showing the capabilities:

First Post!

So my blog is all about recommending apps for iOS devices; iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch. I love apps and its hard to find apps out there, so I am here to show you what apps I like and what apps I think people will like. My first post will come later this week after I have some more time off work.
